Candidate has to attempt FIVE questions in all. Question Nos. 1 and 5 are compulsory and out of the remaining, THREE are to be attempted choosing at least ONE question from each Section. The number of marks carried by a question/part is indicated against it. Question Nos. 4, 5 and 6 must be answered in SANSKRIT and the remaining questions must be answered either in SANSKRIT or in the medium authorized in the Admission Certificate. Answer written in SANSKRIT must be in Devanagari script. Word limit in questions, wherever specified, should be adhered to. Any page or portion of the page left blank in the Question-cum-Answer Booklet must be clearly struck off. Attempts of questions shall be counted in sequential order. Unless struck off, attempt of a question shall be counted even if attempted partly. SLPM-D-SNKT/23 1 [ ୭୬:॥,9. खण्ड--& / SECTION—A 1. अधोनिर्दिष्टानां विषयाणां पर्यालोचनं सोदाहरणं प्रत्येकं எண்ட (150) எல்‌ विधीयतामू-- Each answer along with examples of the following questions to be written within 150 words : 10x5=50 ‎“नैषधे पदलालित्यमू'' इत्युक्तः याथार्थ्य प्रतिपादयत |‏ رم ‎Establish the validity of the வங்க नैषधे पदलालित्यम्‌'',‏ سو ‎रखुवंदामहाकाव्यस्याधारेण कालिदासस्य कवित्वं‏ )9( ‎Reveal the poetic excellence of Kalidasa on the basis of the epic, Raghuvaméa.‏ ‎(८) किरातार्जुनीयमहाकान्यस्य शिशुपालवधमहाकाव्यस्य না काव्यसौष्ठवं विवृणुत |‏ ‎Describe the poetical excellence either of the epic, Kiratarjuniya or of the epic,‏ ‎Sisupalavadha. ‎(0) ‏چو‎ कादम्बर्याः वैशिष्ट्यं எக்‌ निरूपयत। ‎Elucidate in detail the specialities inherent in the text, Kadambari in the field of Sanskrit prose literature. ‎(९) दहकुमारचरितग्रन्थस्य परिचय तथा वैशिष्ट्यजातं च संक्षेपेणोपस्थापयत। ‎Enumerate the identity and the special features too of the text, Dasakumaracarita. ‎2. अधोनिर्दिष्टानां विषयाणां सारगर्भिता समीक्षणीया--- Interpret the purport of the following : ‎'ईशावास्यमिदं என்‌ यत्‌ किश्व जगत्यां জন্‌” इति वाक्यस्य तात्पर्य विशदयत।‏ رم ‎Elucidate the significance of the $୮୫୮୯୮୩୦୮୮ _ ` ` 3୩ 1୩୮୧ स्व यत्‌ किश्व जगत्यां ர”. 15‏ ‎(ರಿ) भगवद्गीतायां वर्णितानां विविधानां योगानां परिचयं महत्त्वं च प्रतिपादयत | Ascertain the identity and utility of various “Yogas’ stated in the Bhagavadgita. 20 ‎(૦) वाल्मीकिरामायणे सुन्दरकाण्डस्य राजनीती எண்ண না महत्त्वं সন্ধাহাযন। ‎Enumerate the excellence either of the Sundarakanda of the Valmiki’s Ramayana or same of that of the Arthasdastra in the field of polity. 15 ‎3. अधोनिर्दिष्टानां विषयाणां समीक्षा विधेया-- Analyze in detail the following : ‎(a) अभिज्ञानशाकुन्तलस्य स्वप्नवासवदत्तस्य वा नाटकस्य कथावस्तु संक्षेपेण ۱ ‎Describe in short the story either of the drama, Abhijfanasakuntala or of the drama, Svapnavasavadatta. 15 ‎SLPM-D-SNKT/23 2 (४) “oR रामचरिते भवभूतिर्विशिष्यते”” इत्यस्याः उक्तः सार्थकताम्‌ उत्तररामचरितनाटकस्याधारेण प्रकादायत। Elaborate the validity of the dictum "उत्तरे रामचरिते भवभूतिर्वििष्यते"' relating to the drama, Uttararamacarita. 20 (૮) वेणीसंहारनाटके महाभारतस्य प्रभावं सोदाहरणं वर्णयत। Describe the influence of the epic, Mahabharata on the drama, Venisamhara with apt examples. 15 4. अधोलिखितानां विषयाणां विवेचनं देवभाषयैव देवनागरीलिप्यामेव च कर्तव्यम्‌-- The answers of the following questions must be written in Sanskrit language and in Devanagari script only : (2) पश्चतन्त्रग्रन्थस्य परिचयं संक्षेपेण दत्त। Elucidate the identity of the text, Paficatantra in short. 20 (৮) எண்ணா प्रथमतरज्ञस्य विषयवस्तूनि 66۱ Enumerate the subject matters found in the First Taranga of the text, Rajatarangini. 15 (८) अमरुदातकान्तर्गतस्य कस्यचित्पद्यस्य was तत्तात्पर्य वर्णयत। Elaborate the significance mentioning of any one verse belonging to the text, Amarusataka. 15 @e—B / SECTION—B 5. नागराक्षरेः संस्कृतभाषायां प्रत्येक सार्धरातिन ‏میں‎ எல்‌ व्याख्यायताम्‌-- Explain each of the following verses in Sanskrit language and in Devanagari script only (within 150 words) : 10×5=50 ‎उौशवेञ्भ्यस्तविद्याना यौवने विषयैषिणाम्‌।‏ رم ‎वार्द्धक्ये मुनिवृत्तीनां योगेनान्ते तनुत्यजामू ॥‏ ‎तं सन्तः श्रोतुमर्हन्ति सदसद्व्यक्तिहेतव: |‏ رم ‎हेम्नः संलक्ष्यते ಇಗೆ!
